Nostale Music Ids + Maps

Hey :)

I was wondering if anyone knows where the musicIds are connected to maps clientside :) Would be nice to know. Thanks in advance :)

In the past the music is/was not really connected to the maps. AFAIK there was a packet that had another id to set the BGM currently playing

Yup, there are actually 2 packets, which headers are "bgm" and "bgm2" and take an id as argument.

But we believe there is a way not to use these, since it's not used in official servers. Our music works on most maps but not in raids for example, which is pretty weird

If I'm right there is also a parameter for the music inside the at packet.

You can have a look at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. Although I don't know if this project is really up to date, it might help to get a better understanding.

Yup, so I checked, and it seems we do have this information already. What's missing on our side seems to come from our parser, so I'll take a look into the client files and post the solution here if I find anything.

Ok, so for anyone having the same issue:

The music ID is indeed in the at packet. Which means it's simply an import issue due to the packet.txt missing data.

If you have the same issue, just go on official, get all "at" packets for the maps where you're missing music, add it to your packet.txt file (if you're using opennos) and simply re parse your map musics.
