The sharing of the files were agreed between the two groups. These were tools stolen by one person in particular who we're pretty sure tried to setup his own server but it went into ether.

I agree on the first part. I wish there was a big public repo with all the tools, releases, clients and server files but people just wanna profit of them.

Tons of progress has been made, you've gotta be joking? Look at the start with Zero's release and what was achievable to what features some of the projects have now. It is a lot.

I know you really dislike them both but you cannot say that with certainty. Yes Saweet had some big contributions in terms of tools and knowledge but both of them have also learned a hell of a lot and pushed the files beyond what they were.

Why do you act like they're both idiots with 0 knowledge anywhere?

Because anyone skilled could have re-wrote the entire code in the time these clowns have been tinkering with it.

They think they are gods gift to 9d and amazing programmers when the truth is people who are new to reverse engineering like that guy vuminhnamtn are actually talented enough to do something, and I doubt it will take over a century of him bragging for him to do it.

As stated from before , the people who had access to the datastructures from the client source, at an early stage, were able to use a hex editor like 010 editor, to write a template to break down the files into their base structures. Personally, the zeron tools were full of bugs, hence i made .csv outputs from the templates plastic created for 010 editor.ie

Being able to generate output data from effect id's from the accessories and outputting to .csv. Then importing to Excel to create lookup tables and whatever was required to do filters in excel to find what was required, was the best ever tool. Sorry but the zeron tools were bugged as hell, i never used them. Learn 010 editor, that’s the best way to manipulate the data in skilltable, monsterref, itemtable etc.

But to be fair, for those who don’t understand templates and how to manipulate them, the zeron apps, were a secondary option for those people looking for a quick way out.

Fucking hell. Why every time do you do this? We don't need a tutorialized explanation on how something works.

Eddwood made a point about Bogdi/Adek flauting their ability and you're literally no better. We don't fucking care. I'm so proud of you for being able to manipulate data and outputting it to another file.

The point wasn't about the quality of the product but the product itself being 'leeched' to which Eddwood made a really valid point about everyone essentially leap frog leeching off each other and then his reasons for not liking Adek/Bogdi..

At no point in this discussion did anyone ask for a tutorial on what happened.

I wouldn't kick off with people for this but you do this every single time and you know you do. You did this not long ago where you interjected about database queries and how something should have been done better - well do it better.

I get that totally. It's pretty impressive what the guy with a few months re'ing was able to do but he did have a bit of help from someone and he could have been around the community for a long time absorbing information and tinkering with his own for longer than he said. That is not any disrespect to that person but more a question as to where did some of their information come from?

We both have been here a long time now. I don't think anyone at this point hasn't had a pop at someone.
