New values on registry

Hey,

I was checking my InstallationId in windows Registry and found some new parameters:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Gameforge4 d\GameforgeClient\MainApp
There is

• FrontendVersion
• HardwareId
• InstallationId

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Gameforge4 d\TNTClient\MainApp

• HardwareId : which is a ByteArray

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Gameforge4 d\TNTClientMS2\MainApp

• FrontendVersion
• InstallationId

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gameforge4d\TNTClient\M ainApp

• InstallationId : this one is different from the others

Does someone know what the HardwareId is used for ?

It's probably used exactly as it's expected to be, an identifier that you are not supposed to change (most of people don't even know what the registry is)
Could be used for multiple purposes :
- Analytics
- Monitoring (logs...)
- Further HWID "ban" possibilities (got serious doubts about it, GF is too money hungry for that kind of bans)

You can find it on their terms & usage or privacy policy, GDPR need
