Instead of unnecessarily using up an inventory by an item:
You will get your name flagged (red) and you will get the PVP-Cape effect while you still have the usual PVP mechanic. Done.
What should someone aim for instead? reimplementing the old-cape system? What a waste of time.

good question, the answer is, its just same, after using the charactervisual.txt except one litile thing, that if u use the devil u will start flaying and get a shoulders from that buff, second, if u go far enough to hide then u come back, we will see u red name with full devil skin, wish means, its like i didn't even edit the charactervisual.txt
but the cap will disable all the effects, that's why the cap is better, ^_~

hope u can help me doing it, beside iam sure it will means alot to all our players..
so we have 2 choices here, 1 we edit the charactervisual.txt to make the new cap system works perfect just like the old caps items, or we just fix that old caps, hope u find my post useful :(
