How do I troubleshoot a newly created server?

I have followed this guide and created the server in VM Ware on a Windows 10 PC:

After hours of trial and error I somehow got it to atleast run the server.

When I start the game though there are fonts missing on the buttons. I still was able to create a new character but when I try to join the game I get dc'ed with a probably vietnamese error message.

Are there any tutorials on how I can solve this issue and/or what to do next? The only tutorials I found are on how to create a server, but I have no clue what to do after that.

Ok, I was now able to join. The reason was that I created an EU char but the region was disabled.

My next question would be, how do I set the game in English an solve the issue with the missing buttons (fonts)?

If that is your own, then I am telling your its a wrong language at the media text.

Or you can just edit the language of the sro_client, check [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] out.

With this tool I was able to change many things into english:

Maybe one day I will try to change everything into english. I'd like to know what the easiest or best way is though.

Now I'd like to know how to change the stats and level of my "gm" char.

I thought maybe a GM helper tool would help, but that's mostly for items it seems. But I don't understand how to use these tools either, since the one I've tested gave me a line of code - which I am not sure what to do with.

Any help you can give me regarding this?

It seems like I can change the stats and stuff in SRO_VT_SHARD under the Char table.

change the sro_client.exe or change the txt from Media\server_dep\silkroad\textdata

textdata_object.txt & textdata_equip&skill.txt & textuisystem.txt
