Buffs dont work ?

10/04/2018 01:22 Singleplayer™#1
does anyone know why the buffs dont work on opennos source ?
the effect and icon works but the effects not , the once which works is the def buff of sp3 (swordi) which increases the hp by 15% , but why does windwalker and other stuff not work even if they are defined in db too ?!

The buff system is actually coded, but all the effects are not. Take a look at the Bcards and the additional types of the buff you're wanting to use and code the effect.

Because I was too lazy to code those effects, I just work for what matter to me.

Well, in the github link Lucifer sent you there are examples.

How to find a buff's effects:

- Find the cardId in the Card table

- Find the corresponding CardId in the BCards table

For example, card 72(morale) has the following data: Type 17, SubType 11, FirstData 1, IsLevelScaled true.

Now, go to the BCardType enum, and find the corresponding data, I will continue with the Morale example:

Gallery

once you have that data, go to the BCards file (Basically the file from Lucifer's link), and code the effect:

P.S: This is only one example of implementation and it is very dirty, just did this for the sake of the example.

Elendan.

You don’t have to change the db... the dB is parsed and the data are coming from bcard.dat and card.dat. You realize I have you the file with all example of buff and you still not happy... Erixor just did screenshot this file for you...so before complaining just click on the link to look at what’s in here

the problem is not the link/source itself , the problem is that there is 0 definition of anything or some hints ....

Because there is only examples in it nothing else.... [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] => same file
You don’t need anything else than this file which has like 50 examples...
