Help for SWF-File needed

In order to make a proper p-server I want to rename some stuff like Uridium to Latinum and change the images of the ores f.e. (prom, sep) and rename maybe the Goliath K2 to David R5 :rolleyes:

The questions are:
1. how can I open/modify/recompile it without risk to destroy it?
2. Are there checksums or any other stuff I should know?

If you think you can make a server that won't be taken down by Bigpoint, you need to do these things:

• Redesign the ships
• Redesign the UI
• Renaming everything
• Remake the sounds and client music

Everything else except the game concept is copyrighted by Bigpoint (because the concept is impossible to copyright). So have fun.

Correct me if I am wrong you try to get the Andromeda back and let it survive from its death.
