Adding heat levels

Hey,

I was wondering, using VLTEdit, is it possible to set the heat to escalate beyond heat level 5, like the 'extra options' mod for MW en Carbon allows to?

I've found these settings which set which driver level you need to be to unlock a heat level, I've tried adding 5 lines to that for the higher heat levels but that didn't work, I'm wondering if the game could support more then 5 levels.

i dont think that to work..the game seem to have only 5..you can only make them more aggressive..

Hi, So no, there have no heat 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10
But you can simulate them, if you changed value ( and Police skin )
For exemple:
1=6
2=7
3=8
4=9
5=10

But wou must changed all values, if you want a perfect copy of heat 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

MW originally had 7 but can support up to 10 so I thought with that logic, but I guess here it's different, they probably are leftover code from other NFS titles.

Thanks for the advice though, I'm looking to simulate the other heats, I just like making my own heat level presets for the supported NFS games, so it's good to know how many workspace I got, I'll definitely be editing the existing 5 levels.

I've read the rules for this board, so when I feel the preset is finished, I'm allowed to make a thread for it in case people want to check it out, right? Don't want to break any rules, that's all. I've enabled a couple more AI cop cars, such as the GTOs and light Rhino during pursuits, so I think some peeps might be interested in trying it.

For now, we don't have any solution for unlock heat levels 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

But we are working on it
The priority thing we search:

-Unlock Heat levels 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
-Make Rhino keep the chase after ram.
-Make Cops starting chase on freeroam. (Not sure at all about this one)

You can start a freeroam pursuit on 2010 & 2011 offline servers, try to find some differences between this and last game builds.
