First, check that all shaiya services are properly installed.

In windows, go to Start menu-> Run, then write 'services.msc' and hit Enter

Psm_AgentInstall> Apply than close it
You should than have green arrows.

So here's the problem, no matter how much i try to fix it, PSMServer_mgr.exe keeps only showing red crosses. AFAIK it's supposed to show green pause buttons or green arrows, but it never showed anything green at all. Just the red crosses and nothing more.

Are you sure you installed SQL Server correctly? If you did, attach the databases (if you use EP4.5 then simply run the batch file to recreate the database), open PSMServer_mgr -> Apply to windows registry -> Service Install All -> Reboot PC/Server.
After rebooting, PSMServer_mgr should show green pause icons.
If they are still red, make sure that all neccessary SQL services are running and not stopped.
