[REQUEST] Accurate HP counter?

01/03/2010 19:25 WAZAAAAA...#1
My first request thread :O

In few words:
I need a way to show the decimal value number (100.0) of my HP during a normal match.

In more words (lol):
As you will probably know, in S4, the HP of a character are expressed in numbers... for instance 100HP is the default value, 130HP with the HP mastery skill, 91HP if you get damaged by other players etc., and this is how they are expressed in the blue HP bar.
But actually, the number showed on the blue bar is a simplified one since they have omitted the decimal number.

Which means that they have also decimal values. Like 100.0 HP = the default one (as you may have noticed when browsing the game_tempos.x4 file), 91.7HP may be the value after you get an hit, etc.

What I need to know is a way to show the actual decimal HP number during a normal (for more precise damage patterns calculations).

Thanks in advance.

one of the 3 dmg values is

0.83..... with MANY digits
and the dmgs are type float ;)

The damage mechanisms in S4 look so damn complicated =_=...

We know that:
-Every channel type has a Damage multiplier parameter which is equal to x2.0 (look at game_tempos.x4 for this one)... which explains why a wep that has only 9.0 power (like the Training PS in this case) inflicts 18.0 HP.
-The body multipliers exist... [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
-The weapon bonusses exist (like +1 +2 +3 etc.)

Another question then: +1 on a weapon that has 5.0 power = 6.0??

yes :)...
example: heavy mashine gun basis dmg=11...+ "+5 weapon" and "+6" body= 22 dmg...=double dmg if you habe +11 :)

You probably don't know that hitting the back = more damage... which explains also why in your trainer (or FichteFoll's one, I don't remember) when you shoot the back of someone the damage is not hacked ^^
