You can search as Xenesis File System. Its easy to extract but file types are not common. So converting the maps and models etc. isn't easy.

Pretty easy to do as long as you have access to the client files.

The hardest part is having access to the client files. You can't just change them after extracting, its not that easy. And if you wanna try show me the results.

Extracting is easy. I said accessing. I mean editing and reimporting the files or converting a map file which is binary .dat file.

Never tried, but these are just modeling files so there should be an easy to convert them to an editable format (through Maya or Cinema4D).

Yes these are modelling files but it doesn't have uv values itself. So you can't texture it even if you can convert.

Textures aren't inside those .dat files, textures are external files from the models (.dtx are texture files).

I think you don't know what's UV. UV's are not texture files, its texture coordinates you can search as Unwrapping uv.

Even if you have all texture files you can't apply them to model as long as you don't have the coords.

If you still didn't understand let me explain one last time.

If there's no UV = Texture files are worthless.
If you have UV's = You can apply textures to model.

Yeah I know, you are completely right about what you are saying.
I was just pointing out that if you modify .dtx files you'll be able to edit textures applied to those models (aslong as you have UV's, of course).
