Increase ViewDistance / RemoveFog

09/15/2015 00:16 Asuramaru#1
I made a really simple programm (NO MOD!) which allows you to increase your ViewDistance (+ Vegetation) and to remove your fog.

How to use:
- Run Archeage
- Load into the world!
- Run the programm

If you change your graphic settings, you have to rerun the programm to apply the changes again. (might also be the case if you switch characters, haven't tested that yet)

The .rar contains the executable and a simple settings.ini which allows you to set your own ViewDistance etc.

I might add a auto reapply if its really wished, but for now you have to do it by yourself ;)

(Its written in AutoIT - if you really dont trust me just decompile it...)

can you give you autoit source
i have tryed to decompile you file but not success... :(

Havnt run it yet, but done a quick exe check.

the exe has been compressed/packed with upx, which is strange (but not unusual). a lot of malware is packed to avoid av dectection

also, op is a seems to be a gold seller. I wouldnt run this until someone checks it out properly.

100% malware, why should you tell us to decompile it if you compressed it - so decompiling will not work?
09/16/2015 07:32 Asuramaru#6
UPX is the standard packer in AutoIT - the decompiler gets around this without problems....
+ you could just download upx and revert the packing.

If the decompiler does not work (exe2aut) then try to remove the resource (ResourceHacker) that requestsAdmin permission.
I really have not intention to lose my account... espacially on such a small section ;)

Warning: Badly named virables inc :^)
Just Google the NomadMemory to include if you want to compile it yourself

Some more shit if you get bored an wanna play with it in memory to do with 4byte values.

Onscreen stats:

383172c8 - 0/1

Hitbox display:

38317290 - 0/1

Wireframe:

38317214 - 0/1

Heat vision:

383170b0 - 0/1

Retro:

383170b8 - 0/1

Textureless:

383170d0 - 0/1

And a float value 38316f40 - 0/1 ( highlights your target )

Just simple stuff ;)

The addresses would be different from EU/NA > RU because of different client executable and where they would be stored in memory.

Psst, you know the addresses are different between dx9 to dx11 and that there is actually an global fog controller address?

Just figured I would drop a hint here ;)

Offsets changes every new udpates. However, depending how advance the coder is, he can also code a sigscanner that does not require updates to this hacks in order to work with the new game update. Unless needed.

Offset's do not usually change that often, I've not had to update any of the offsets for archeage that I use in Derp, just the base address pointer and yes a sigscanner can find/set those from memory easily.

New Distance pointer:

$addrView = 0x30291C18 (offset still the same)
