No link back to epvpers = fail.

Also, no where does it mention what client version the server is targetted at.

Well, even though the open-source idea is a major fail. I hope you have much success with your project.

It's the same as a C# source using different classes, methods and slightly different syntax.

Uh, In my opinion if you had compared Java to C# 2.0, I'd say they were about even and it's hard to find an article or an argument comparing Java to C# 4.0 (or 3.0 for that matter).

If you compare the development of .NET compared to Java, .NET is the way to go in my opinion. Java is great for cross-platform, sure, but as I (emphasis on I) have always said, I don't plan on writing code expected to run on a Mac or Linux; Windows is where it's at. .NET has grown immensely over the last few years just look at LINQ from C# 3.0, and Dynamic Objects in C# 4.0 (Beta?).

If your fluent in Java, you can easily change and become fluent in C#, and vice-versa. The only real difficulty is re-learning what classes you use for what. For instance in C# you use the "Socket" class for both a server and a client. In Java I believe there's a class called "ServerSocket" or "TcpServer".
