How to change spawn point localization with ResourceTool?

Example: I want to respawn in different place on the some map. What resources I have to edit and how?

For old maps like Station-2 the spawn positions are included inside their main .scn files. New maps have a seperate spawn SCN File.
For example NeoArena:
neo_arena.scn - Map Main File
neo_arena_spawn.scn - Map Spawn positions file

Have fun with editing them. You need to read and edit them with a hex editor.
And for the old maps where are no spawn scn files available, the spawn positions are almost at the beginning. Have fun.

hm... what program I have to use to edit .scn files?

And what is exactly .scn format? Is there any way to extract mesh from this format and convert to .xmf or another?

Just google "Hex Editor" and you'll find enough programs.

Nope, it's an object based file format. Everything can be in one file. For example a whole map can have only 1 SCN file. But the devs are able to split it in multiple files. Like they did with new maps for spawn, oct and the main shits.

Just export the SCN File to 3D file format for your favourite 3D modelling software and you can change everything. But the SCN format is shit so hf developing an extractor and importer.

I edited scn of alicehouse to change respawn points and now this map aren't load. Why?
01/25/2015 14:59 Horizon*#13
When the map loading crashes, you most likely edited it wrong and corrupted the file.
The spawn positions are in the alicehouse.scn.

It's selfmade by me and can parse any kind of S4 League SCN Files. Just too lazy to finish it completly and develop an exporter / importer.
