If they were the same why would u need to use WinHex to edit the data if you could just use excel HUH

excel CANNOT edit .pak files....therefor not the same smart arse prick.........

in just about EVERY thread i've seen you post in....you are always giving others a hassle.....when most of the time i have realized you were the one that was wrong about something yet you keep trying to justify yourself........

(Isn't justify such a big word for you.......look it up)

WinHex edits hexadecimal values......hence the abbreviation Hex in the word WinHex..........

Excel edits values in a different format....therefor being different.....oh and .pak files and .csv files act differently.......Oh but i am sure you knew this but just had to try and sound smart...............Keep pulling yourself

WinHex and csv editing share same principles since csv are based on data pac.

true but it does almost same thing just through excel files instead of direct data editing.

Yeah shure csv and .pak editing are different things which do the same function, with basically doing same actions. It's like saying that Yahoo messenger and msn are two different thing, yes they are made by two different companies, have lil bit different options but still do the same thing the same way. Therefore by learning WinHex, csv will be easy. Same works the other way.

Have good day everybody :)

P.S. Spazman6117 instead of arguing with people you could spend that time searching for threads to help xyle in the way you think is right.
