Today i was running around in nagrand (don't ask why) and i decided to try how much would i crit with ambush to the mob next to me. I accidentally used a macro instead of ambush (which casts ambush and vanishes immediately) and i noticed the mob took the damage from my ambush and did not aggro me. So what makes this an exploit? Well the mob just continued walking around like normal but it's health pool did not reset as it would normally do when a rogue vanishes.
This can be useful when leveling and trying to solo a harder mob, ambushing without the mob to aggro and start killiing it when it doesn't have full hp.
The macro i used was rather simple:
/cast Ambush
/cast Vanish
I don't know if this works with other aggro resetting abilities since I haven't had time to test it on my huntard yet.
Tried it several times on different mobs and it worked great. I also tried to replace ambush with garrote but it didn't work out well
