Question on edits

Well, I am LOVING all of the edits that have been done. It's fun to mess with the small things, but I've only done so much. What I really want to do is make edits to garments, or weapons, etc. But I'm not sure how to go about doing that =\ I don't know what files to edit, or what program(s) I would need... So can anyone give me any information?

I looked at that --->Extracted c3.wdf & data.wdf files.<--- Thread, but I didn't really understand what I was reading.

Basically you do the following.

-Go to that thread
-Download the wdf extractor
-Place it in your Conquer directory (e.g C:/Programme Files/Conquer Online 2.0)
-Double click the wdf extractor
-Wait
-Now check out your c3 folder, it should have all the texture files and effect files in there.

Edit: eh... wait a sec. I don't see anything labeled as the "extractor". I've downloaded the extracted files themselves before, but there wasn't any program in there o_o And the first link "Extracted WDF Files" says "Error: LinkList not found."

Many people use Photoshop and add Plugin for edit .dds Files, nut i have another method, I will shop you here :)

Go to you conquer folder, Conquer/C3/Texture, here a lots of .dds files choose one and open with Paint.NET, edit this and save change :)

Yeah paint.net is easy to use.

My personal preference is GIMP with the dds plug-in as it loads faster than PS on my computer.

Edit: Oh wait.. dds? I can do that already... So now I reference my previous post, about not finding this "extractor" to download that boogiepanda was talking about.
