need some help

ERROR: GAME DB INIT ERROR : [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]Specified SQL serv

now i have tryed what was stated here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

but cant get it to work not even sure my sql server is running not even sure how to check but any way any one know what i can try

You can check your server services by going into SQL server configuration manager in Configuration tools.

Same place you should have configured the server TCP/IP stuff and look at the server services section.
