i didnt knew that there are pple who need somethings like that.
@Synx i think that my tool can offer for you a free time & better and clean source
also your words mean for me that my tool is useless while the true useless is releasing a document which its not completed and make you spend some time searching to Get the ID's you want.

I didn't say it's useless, but there are more complete tools.
I've also been testing your tools and its kinda uncomplete, for example you don't show TID3 and TID4 for consumable items.
There are also few bugs related on how you link items with their TID, for example, on equipable item<flag, there is a campfire, which doesn't belong to there, and matches with the trader TID4 number.
And finally, the names you use for every TID category are not the same as the ones shown ingame, and might lead into confusion. I recommend you taking the TIDS and the name that belongs to it (specially the TID4) from the item_grouping.txt on Media.pk2, bind group codenames are on textuisystem.txt if I remember well (or textdata_object.txt).

I'm just saying this to help you improve your program, say brainless thanks without even take the time to find and test bugs is useless (to the person that said I should say something useful).

I don't really get the use of the tool, if you want to get the TypeID's of a specific object you'd simply output the row of _RefObjCommon (which naturally includes the TypeID's you were looking for).

And btw, TypeID1(1) also includes structures, why would you call structures "Character"?
