[Survey] Class Balances - Physical Damage

Hey there,

Right now in my development, I'm working on damage calculations used in physical attacks. This survey is regarding physical damage ONLY from each class. Given that each class is created for different reasons (trojan: physical / skill, taoist: spell, archer: ranged, etc), I'd like to know how you feel the classes should be balanced when dealing a physical attack. Archers, Taoists, and other ranged or magical professions do not use physical attacks normally, so please take that into consideration when balancing. Please fill out this form:

i don't really think that is going to work as tq have balanced all classes with the following
warrior should have the best attack and defense as it doesn't have skills which tq have balanced it using 3 more skills for warrior , skill for 2 hand/steed , skill of spear and wand

archer should have some attack and defense not to be useless after they removed farming db , but that have been balanced by using 2 knifes to be a good ranged attack char. (with low gears it achieve more damage than a fire with better gears)

taos turned to be completely useless which to why no one is using fire taos , and everyone using water are using the pure skill with the 2hand/steed skill (which is having a good attack) , so they kinda balanced water tao but not fire tao

trojans skills are always balanced , good melee attack and a good defense , fb/ss having a real high attack but after monk/pirate tq have increased herc. range and attack with a pure skill to balance trojans again which didn't work that good

ninjas got a good melee attack too with a medium defence , ninjas twb have a good attack and it became even better with the c.s , not so balanced in ranged pvps which to why tq added the synce which was a big fail

monks and pirates does not depends on melee as much as they depends on the skills , both of them are balanced due to there skills

tq are trying to balance every char ending up with an unbalanced chars which to why ill advice you to copy tq , if one char meant to be stronger then let it be
for an accurate results , and a better solution than survey you should create around 10 accounts , doing daily quests will get them to level 50 or something in no time , try to use no gears at all and compare attack/defence of each
but for this survey and if i was you i was to say

Monk: 80%
Ninja: 80%
Pirate: 80%

Archer: 70%
Monk: 80%
Ninja: 80%
Pirate: 80%
Taoist: 60%
Trojan: 90%
Warrior: 100%

correct me if i am wrong but giving 80% dmg to monk or ninja will be very over powerd. lets not forget that they can catch you very easy and yet they got toxic fogs and monks have many buff skills,

Monk: 50%

i think trojan must have the most power and warrior the most def

Though I might clarify why. IMO balanced stats should be based upon gear and not classes etc.

what about creating custom formulas? 3 types of damage:
strength-physical defense/attack
agility-agility? attack/defense//this will be like strength but not that "efficient", could give a bit of defense, or they will suck against any class :P
spirit-magic attack/defense.

agility should give a fraction of the attack given by the strength but a tiny bit more of defense, or the necessary to look fair, that way u can make a very balanced attack calculation(i dk how are the stats for pirates nor monk) so.

Ninja: High agility attack plus high attack/defense given from equipment, should be less efficient than trojan in melee figths.

Archer: High agility attack plus low-medium attack defense given from equipment, should be not very effective against any melee char(ninja, tro, warr), and better vs taos, not that much since equipment gives very poor attack :p

Trojan: will have a high attack in anyway, since all other classes have less melee potency than this one, except for warrs, but kinda weak vs taos obv.

Warrs: similar to trojans, but more defense than attack.

but this would require kinda lots of testing, but sounds pretty well :P...had this idea just a moment ago so it should be improved in case someone wanna use it :) also reset stats would unequip the gears :p
