I was wondering if anybody already calculated how much data is transferred (D/U) for a fixed period of time by a CO2 server, with a certain amount of player known.
Yes, I'm aware of this. I was thinking of like 100 players online, doing a normal "day", what would be the data transfer amount ? From that, I would easily extrapolate to get a reasonable average... And as I have no longer any server, I can't just do it locally.... The results would be too poor.Quote:

Say a fixed player count of 100... They could be selling stuff in market, talking with friends or hardcore scatter farming which would DRASTICALLY alter the bandwidth being used.
I'm positive you're aware of this but just curious what sort of measurement you could hope to truly gain from this type of research. Honestly you'd be better off tracking bandwidth for a 'single average player' and then extrapolate from there to arrive at a semi reasonable average.
