Request/Questions on help decripting packets

Hi, I recently finished writing a packet sniffer program and am able to sniff the conquer packets, id now like to learn how to decrypt (& modify?) and encrypt packets for sending to the conquer servers.

So, firstly, is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] tutorial still up-to-date? I realize that the most recent posts where back in July 2005.
And secondly, is there anyone out there willing to help teach me these things? Im still fairly new to this region of programming, but could follow that above tutorial without to much trouble.

If it's from 2005, it's way out of date.
Due the the enormous amount of hacks, TQ updated their encryption protocol at patch 5018.
