A good server will ask for donations, and mabye give a few things if you donate i.e. CoEmu (v2, by Andy) Qonquer,
or won't ask for donations at all, i.e. AcidCO.
Any LOTF, or TQ Binary server asking for donations should just be ignored.

Back when I was a novice at C#, HybridCO epically died due to me "experimenting with pointers" and fucking my source beyond fixing.
