[Help]MSSQL 2008

Since my work hasn't had much use for me this week. I've been dinking around in MSSQL 2008. So far, I've gotten 3 of the database backups to work. Now, the billing one is a bit more troublesome.

look at 'restore as' table, u got 3 same name file 'C:\billing.mdf' ...

rename the other the other 2 for example 'C:\billing_1.mdf' or anything else as long it won't clash up the file name.

Thanks a lot man. I'm working on a tutorial for people who want to attempt to use 2008. I popped the Thanks button too!


Edit:
Great! I get this fixed, now the stupid little server icon in the system tray won't come online. It won't even show up. I've enabled it in the services, bahhh! Damn you Microshit!

SQL 2008 doesn't have server agent on sys tray but instead run invisible at background.

just make sure u check your component at sql configuration manager. make sure all the component (etc; sql browser, sql server agent ...) is running.
