I wouldnt hire you just for asking. Every shaiya private server is a non-profit organization (the company doesnt make money the owner does).
And to expect to get payed with so many servers out there and donations come from no where....

It would be nice if you gave more info here so people dont need to always add you on skype. What your looking for, many people have those skills, including you if you own the server... so what specialties....

you dont know what your talking about kid , Listen if you no what team work is then you would no that all contributions should get put towards upgrading the server,
(Yes Maybe sometimes you may get a slice of the cake) But the fact is it all depends on advertising the less lazy you are to get visitors to your site the less money you earn and btw a (Site Owner)
is just a trade mark that shows you that he owns the site, Does not conclude the fact that he don't pay his staff.

Be very careful of who you allow to help you. There are some in the community that will take advantage of you and rob you of your work and money if given the chance. Best way to do a server is Do-It-Yourself, that is only way you can be safe from con-artists. All the help is here and with a little honest work you to can be a server owner.

[Do-It-Yourself] really..... that would be good in a way but very bad at the same time .

1.you only want long time friends to help not like off a website like this.

2.you do it your self like russell said but look at what happend to him a ddos server his full staff left him and server went to crap after awile

but like i said ONLY USE FRIENDS NOT PEOPLE FROM A WEBSITE.:rtfm:

Like Russel said the best way to make a good server, make your server your self not allow any one to have access unless you want to have things messed with later in case you remove them or they leave. for what ever reasons there might be. If you need help with something some of the other owners might help if you have an issue, and there are alot of posts here that will also help you. i say owners because alot of the orginal devs the ones who paved the way for there to be so many P-servers here got tired of the ddos attacks and the blame game , constiant can you do this for me and every thing along them lines have left from here. there are a few of them still around here and they help if they have time. ask not beg ,demand . show respect and they might help the same with the other owners. not to discourage you from asking for help but try to start it your self first if you have issues then ask and i am sure that if you look you will find that some one else has had the same issues and there are good answers to fix them. and good luck with your server i wish you best of luck with your server.

I agree with the do it yourself thing.
Back when I was younger and lacked the proper ability to pay for a dedicated server I needed someone to pay for it so I trusted a "friend".
Not to say this will happen to everyone, yet it did to me more than once, he/she bought the dedi, I did ALL the fantastic work, they didn't like it -.-, I had to change it, players didn't like it so they made me change it to how I had it before, I got pissed, they locked me from the dedi(which was funny cuz I created an alt account on there in case that happened), I copied all my work and left.
After that the server went down within a week due to them not being able to run it.
Of course I probably have the worst luck possible so not saying this will happen to you.
Just make sure you are the one doing most the work and keep the dedicated server locked to you exclusively.
If they want on make them do it through teamviewer on your comp and log in that way.
This way you can not only monitor what they do, yet also close it out if they do something you don't want.
Plus they don't need the dedicated server pass this way.
This is not about trust it's about a successful business. Which running a server is like a business.
Just some helpful advice >.>
Also if you do have questions I guarantee 99% of your questions are answered on these forums.
Just search before posting a question. That personally annoys me when I see question after question posted and no one looks >.>
I've been on these forums for a long time so I know what's been answered and what hasn't xD
I literally check just to make sure sometimes >.>
Sometimes I'll feel nice and answer the questions, yet most the time I feel people should find it for themselves.
Doing it yourself gives you a greater sense of satisfaction and makes you want to do a better job with what you alone have created.
I've learned that over time as well :p
Just advice o.o..don't listen if you don't want.
