Well, hotkeys don't seem to save in my 4274/4283 client. Pretty sure they did save back then, and that it was always log/[ServerName]/[AccountID]/Setup.ini
But that file is not generated. Any ideas?

I believe you have to complete the login sequence for the client to save its settings (or at least the first step).Quote:

Odd, I was sure I was sending all the packets right since you can fully login and level/etc. I'll look into it.
EDIT: Found the reason by the way, I had typo'd my 1110 as 1010. Honestly surprised that didn't cause any other problems. Anyway,

You shouldn't even be able to login with that type as general-data is required to make you login as th sub-type for set-location is a part of that packet lol.
