[RELEASE] Darkorbit 1vs1 Simulator

Now I finaly finished this application which calculates your hit/shield/hp 100% correctly with updates, boosters, havocs, etc and 1vs1 matches between 2 players. So this will help you with finding good configurations and helps you to calculate how much does updates/havocs increase hit and shield.

How to use?

You need .net framework 4.0 to run this program. If you dont have it you can download it from Microsoft websites.

Download application here:

This is first version of the program and I'll update it quite soon. First I'll add skill designs and new ships if they come out. Also I have thought to add rockets (and hst).
I haven't made anything with vb.net for long time so there can be a little bug somewhere too. If so, I'll (try to) fix it asap.

Please tell me your opinion of my application. What is good? What is bad? What could I do in different way? How to make this better?

It can not be perfect, because of the time of changing the configurations

Well I think its quite hard to find any perfect application and much harder to do it ;D

I'm not sure what do you mean with "time of changing the configs". Do you mean the time when the program changes from config1 to config2 (when the first shield ends) ? I think that goes quite correctly. I dont know about you but I usually start 1vs1s with shield config. When the shield ends I turn to hit/speed and fight until the end with it. Of course, many players keeps switching configs every 5 sec but I dont see any idea there :)
Or did you mean something else with it?

I just starded to add skill designs.. I think I'll finish them during the weekend.

I meant:it isnt the same thing if you change your configuration directly when your first shield ends or just when you have (for example) 100k hp.
Sorry for my eng. . .

Yep now I understand what you mean and, yes, it isn't the same thing. In the most cases its best to add the "shield config" to config1 and "hit config" to config2. If both shield are down, the application will continue with the hit config (=config 2). This won't unfortunately work everytime so it won't tell the correct result.

I think I can make a little menu for this after I have added skill abilities. "Chance config when X hp left" would help with this problem or am I wrong? :)
