You know.. theres a faq thread for a reason.

Irc bot is a way for the game server to interact with your website chat system. We used it on our site so people could ask it questions in our chat box as well as communicate ingame. world chat appeared on website and messages could be sent from the website to ingame with it.

It also allowed to check for intake gms and number of ppl online.

It's useful but nothing toooo fancy.

How well the performance of this source

Inter: 10M

How many players can support online?

can move Core library to use another source to modify it?

You may have some issues if your host only has 10mbit connection...

That being said we've never had any serious issues with performance in this source except for a few issues where we just needed to re-code some dumb line or two of code we hadn't checked through enough.

Connection speed will be your bottleneck here but even with a 10mbit connection you could probably pull off 100 or so players before you notice much lag. The ram/proc won't really be that important with so few players though. Should really be getting a 100mbit line. Most vps' use one.

As for using the core... not sure what you'd use it for in other sources... It deals with the socket system as well as a few other things in this source. Why would you try to jam it into another source? Makes no sense.. :S
