Did it just go all the way down after hybrid and ulti? The only server I see doing good is Project X by Bauss
just wondering if there is any decent server out there

Oh, you got me wrong o.oQuote:
I don't know about your server. I quit conquer long time ago so I don't know what is going on with these servers
Well I just read about your server. Good luck with it :)Quote:

I'm just trying to point out that you said that in a community full of developers (some of which whom are proud and dedicated project managers). You can't even log into my server atm. .-.
There was a release on 4botters with this arena, ofc, buggy and incomplete but the people heard of it. A "HonorArena" as how many people call it it's very easy to create if you know what you're doing.Quote:
Define down hill? Since that time we now know more about the client and server than ever before. In my view the community just refocused onto research rather than running servers for the public.
And since then we have had more public source releases than ever before available giving people different options and broadening peoples methods and views on how to achieve things.
I suppose i understand what you mean if your trying to say, where are the successful home grown servers with 200/300+ users? The simple answer is there arnt any at the moment.
We at l2h are doing pretty interesting things with binaries (despite them being infuriatingly limiting) while our C# source is being developed, a working arena system on 5065 for example, completely unheard of as far as I'm aware.
Yea thats what I mean. A decent server.Quote:

We have it working with system messages =/ its practically identical to retail co >_>Quote:

Also, if I think a bit, you can also do it with autosystem messages like retail co arena is, dunno if 100% works but i'll give a shot and i'll let janix to know if it can be done.
