You want to create your own animation .c3 files that's it ?
Well, just to give you some more informations about how it works for conquer ( it might be better for eo since that public .c3 plugin was made to work on eo )
We barely can create new effects. Nothing worth it =/
We can make planes/objects moving from point A to point B in x y and z axis
We can make planes/objects scaling
So for example you could make a sword falling from the sky to the ground, or some sort of spikes getting off the ground, or some kind or simple fake particles ( glow point on a dds, apply to plane ) moving along a sword, you can make your weapon getting bigger/smaller, then gets back to normal size, or only some part of your weapon.. lots of stuff if you're creative ^^
To get our animations, we gotta use the AutoKey tool on 3DS max, we can only use 2 keyframes, the 1st one and the last one, all the other keyframes used wont work
Another info about keyframes, your animation should last " a multiple of 4 keyframe " so like 8, 16, 32, 64 .. keyframes otherwise it wont work
We cannot rotate planes/objects
We cannot add particles ( graphic engine doesnt support particles for both eo and co )
We cannot do UWV animation ( IE: you know those .dds with 16 different images on it, it's a 16 keyframe animation, and at each keyframe, you move the UVW map to the next image )
To sum up: it's complicated, bugged and it's clearly not worth it, theres already so much to do with existing .c3 animation files :rolleyes:
