Try using MSSQL 2005 or 2000, they're proven to work with dekaron A3 servers. I'm not entirely sure if the old dekaron server files support MSSQL 2008

DK SRV wont work on a win7 and wont work with sql2008

GO down: Windows Server 2003 - Microsoft SQL Server 2005-2000

server files, as THT has stated, will not work on win7 (or win 2008 server) nor will the dk server work with sql 2008, i have actually heard someone say they got it to work, but as someone on here has said b4, why by a ferarri if u live on a dirt road . .

the server files were made to work with sql 2000, and that what they work best on.

Mssql 2008 does support the server files, I'm using it on my test server.

Really [DEV]Harmony? think you could make a video tut on how to get it to run? that would made you a very "LIKED" man lol.

Seems cool, thanks for that many answers!

Well, the restoring of the db's in 2008 is nearly exactly the same as in 2005/2000 ;).
You dont need to be a genius to figure out how to do that! :P

[DEV]Harmony:
Which OS are you running?

Maybe i gonna run xp with sql 2008 - that 'd sound fine! :D
04/30/2011 00:29 [DEV]Harmony#11
Windows 2003.
04/30/2011 00:51 ssherrill#12
Just my 2 cents, did you run the SN? I rec'd the same errors when I had forgot to run the SN after I reinstalled MSSQL. If you did, nvm. :)
04/30/2011 01:06 [DEV]Harmony#13
Even if he did, hes running it on windows 7, it won't work on windows 7.
04/30/2011 01:44 ssherrill#14
True good point lol Muh bad :P
04/30/2011 11:16 Elite*Ruler#15
ssherrill: Yep i've done that multiple times:
the one says "successfully" the other "blub already exists" (because i've done it yet.. :D ).

Thanks for the hint.

I will now install xp pro and then go with sql 2008. I gonna give feedback! :D

Still one question:
WHY it doesen't work on W7?
