This image was done in paint really quickly. The idea was to (hopefully) clear up at least the reasoning behind the "base address" search for people are aren't ASM literate, and don't know much about structure memory layout, etc.
I'm hoping that the diagram at the top which shows the layout of several linked structures should make it more obvious what the tutorial here ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) is doing.
Should be easy enough to understand if only because of the diagrammatic representation, and hopefully, if linked to from the original "base address" guide article, should reduce the number of questions asking for clarification/more tutorials, and generally reduce low IQ posts and forum clutter.

Also, has anyone actually reverse engineered this game to the extent that they know the layout and location of say, the inventory structures? I kind of want to make a crack to see if I can change an item in my inventory into another, although I doubt it's possible since the inventory is most likely kept in the server side. But it's worth a try...
