pvp question

ok i am trying ta throw an added twist into pvp maby someone can help me its a simple when you kill in pvp you get 1 kill as usual but when you die you get 1 death and it subtracts 1 kill from your count and a way to make the pvp rewords guy only give points 1time so people cant stat pad in a new way and make a kill get 1 point die witch resets kills ta 0 make kill get point again and so on any help will be greatly apresheated sence alot of players on my server agree its a good adition to pvp

Yeah, you can do this in ps_game.exe. I've done some work in this area and you can indeed modify it to have this behavior.

Well stat padding would still work.... what matters is the kill rate of the main toon not the death rate of the other one. No one cares if that guy keeps dying and dying xD

ya stat padding is steal capable i was refering to makeing death =minus 1 kill and 1 player kills in pvp then dies on purpus to go back and forth to the points guy to continualy get the 1 stat point from lvl 1 rank he will get again after 1 death meaning takes sum 20 k kills ta get highest avalable stat points from manager but its only say 30 points to get 30 points = 50k kills but kill 1 die 1 30 times ina row and re get 1 point each time from manger = 30 points earned at just a fraction of the time to get 50 k kills also in other prospective kill 1 die 1 3k times = an added 3k stat points for continus return to manager after 1 kill go die get 1 kill the added points are skyrocketed if its unable to make the manger only give lvl 1 points 1 time and not each time its reset after death or even get 100 kills for rank 3 or what ever it iss then get your 5 points die 1 time rekill 1 time get another 5 points and so on for each level of reword points im shure its a little cleare now i wasnt refering to stat padding itself i was refering to another yet easyer way of it with my deduction method if manager regives points

Well, when you make the edits you will have to do some validation before you subtract the kill. You will want to make sure that Kills is not equal to zero so it doesn't roll over.

At this point you could validate each pvp rank so they can't actually loose ranks. This might not be the exact behavior you want but it would be an easy way to stop people from exploiting it.

ya its actyaly going in the right direction the loss of rank would be ok ta keep say you just hit rank 3 and die and fall into rank 2 again would be nice ta have rank also change with it but if it alows re gathering of points from the manager id keep ranks as is but ya id say your on preaty much the same page as me earth.. now my sec question lol im a simy nub at everything and an omfg uber nub in olly ce and all those wonderfull programs im trying ta learn but its proveing tomuch atm for my mind ta catch on so if any1 is willing to do this for me i would be greatly apresheated and ofcourse its no urgency its just an added thing for me as later apone relese and rather pvpers actyaly want it implomented or not.
