Lucky time trick?

so i heard about this lucky time trick where you decreased the dura of an item to zero and then repaired it, its quality jumped

i took a elite necky, refined boots, and norm armor and decreased the dura to 0, i then took a lv 1 noob with 10 minutes of lucky time and repaired the items...

the quality did not change :(

so it this just a urban legend?

Nope, its just luck, go on trying it, if your damn lucky it may change to Sup.

Wrong place to post this, should have been in Socket Theories. And I think soc's are purely random.... even though... nothing to do with a PC is random... its all based on numbers and there is a calculation behind EVERYTHING.... so... maybe its not ;-)

some how diffrent chars got diffrent lucks like my war got HUGE luck and have found 2 dbs(once while boting :) ) same with socs.

luck inst the word to use here, i dont think item would just go to super so easily, maybe to unique, and the trick with 0 dura,well try test it like times10 with 1 item.

the quality will up,but the best ive ever got is unique(took 8 times using a lvl 5 2 soc club to get it to unique tryed another 5+ times and it dident up anymore so i gave up and used 4 dbs before it supered)
