u cant connect to internet from backtrack and its not os its program that run under ubunty os.This isnt full os just some parts of it and it is used for hacking wifi wep/wpa/wpa 2 passwords

i thought it was a whole live dvd,but anyway.
you need directx drivers installed witch you cant do from a live dvd without havig a partion.
if your wanting to play with linux,screw the live dvds and make youeself a 10gig partion and install a disto.
