Packet Sniffer for EO

12/15/2007 06:15 Orochisuke#1
This is a beta release.

As well, there may be random exceptions/errors >.>

You must have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed to run this program.

Instructions:
  1. Edit your Server.dat to connect to the bind.ip defined in config.xml
  2. Edit the account.ip and game.ip in config.xml to reflect the server you wish to connect to.
  3. Change log file name and/or directories as desired. Use '~', ignoring quotes, to use the default name, which happens to be the current date.
  4. Change the blocked packets. They must be defined as 0xABCD!
  5. Run the exe.
  6. Log in.

DISCLAIMER
I am not responsible for how you may use this program. By using this program, you accept not to hold me liable for any results due to misuse or otherwise. Use at your own risk.

Do not upload my program to another site or host without my permission.

If you find any bugs other than the unreadable outgoing packets, post here. I ask that a mod grace us with their presence and prune the thread of any useless or stupid posts.

It intercepts the connection between the eo client and server, allowing you to view the packets between them.

In Main Discussions, I posted a server.dat decryptor/encryptor. Decrypt your server.dat with my program, open with your favourite hex editor, edit the IP to your bind.ip as defined in config.xml, save and encrypt. Simple.
