Unfortunately tho, I massively prefer it above LOTF and NewestCOServer.
That is cause you are one of the select few that prefer quality over quantity.

I will consider that to be a compliment. =p
So thanks. :)

Besides, that is also cause I wanted to learn programming, C# and more about networking, and LOTF only used few methods and everything was based on it, it didnt have dictionaries, lists, arrays only hashtables etc etc, CoEmu uses way more different things.

That's cause tannel is addicted to hashtables vs dicts and if statements vs switch. Bugs me whenever i look at his code lol.

Coemu is a bit of a mixed bag for me... easy to use and decently coded so that you could easily upgrade/change patches and make it relevant yet it's simply not as good as the other 'advanced' sources out there. Just isn't stable enough to justify the work (elite coemu did alot in that direction though)

Can someone tell me what program i have to use to open the source ?
09/12/2010 20:33 pro4never#1445
visual C# 2008/2010 express will work...

Seeing as all the sources on here (with the exception of one) are C#, that's the program you need for ALL of them.

Note that there is all this information already posted all over the forum <_<

Ok, so i got the servers up, Got the client 5095, Got the edited exe and dat files. I would i was golden. Everything looks good. For some reason I cant login to my server and I think it's do to an IP issue. Whenever in the tutorial you guys mention "Enter IP used for server", or "your IP" I used 127.0.0.1. Am I supposed to use my actual IP address of my PC? Or is 127.0.0.1 correct and something else is afoot?

127.0.0.1 is only local.

U need to put ur own ip, if u want others to connect.

I mean i cant even connect

Nothing is finished in this source. This post is the ORIGINAL coemu (before anything else was coded for it).

It has

Few/no skills
No composition
no trade
no guild
no events
no view gears
no lock/unlock
no friend/enemy/mentor/trade partner
few npcs

#Solved

You have to put your localhost IP ( 127.0.0.1 )
