How to make a character on this server in the database?. To try to do it, I can not go on it.And How to run a server?.

I dont understand this...I followed your guide exactly, had client working and i logged in a few times, then suddenly it tells me "connection with server has been interrupted" when i try to login.

Ive looked through a million posts on here trying to figure out why its not working and I just dont get it.

open up the database using navicat or some similar program, open accounts.. enter a username!

Done

password is set on first login.


As for running the server. Open up the project with C# and debug both the login and game server (after having followed the guide and edited where necessary) and then run both the game and login server (from the debug folder)


As for the connection interrupted after logging in a few times, check the game server. Are you receiving any errors? If there are no errors or any msg's in either server then chances are your client isn't even trying to connect to the correct place. Check the client ips and make sure it is 127.0.0.1 (also go over the source ips and settings again)

If all else fails re-download the source and start it from scratch. That's usually the best fix, just following the guide all over again using the knowledge you have learned since the last time you tried.

So what do i change it to... My IP or 127.0.0.1???? Also i have a problem i dont seem to upload a batch file to sql it just appears there automatically, BUT there is no items under the items hyperlink and same for a few other hyperlinks. It also comes up with an error when i use Navicat giving me a primary key warning. So ive got the cracked co.exe. the server DAT and the client all done. But the CoEmu v2.... when i load the game server windows pops up saying it has stopped working half way through laoding maps. Why is this...? I followed everything to the detail. Can anyone tell me where im going wrong.

I have windows vista 32-bit, so it has nothing to do with the 64 bit problem. Ive read the first 25 pages to this forum and got bored :P. WHERES PRO4NEVER WHEN I NEED HIM =0

help please can you help me i got error when people connect to my server it says : [LoginServer] Unable to accept data from a client.

it says [GameServer] connection timed out.
[CodeNumber] authenticated from LoginServer

What to do please help me

127.0.0.1 to host locally (not online, DO THIS FIRST TO SETUP AND TEST SOURCE. IT WILL WORK ALOT EASIER!)

external ip if you are hosting online AND all ports are forwarded properly through your router

hamachi ip if you are using that horrrriibblee system.


Note: there are two servers in the source, one is by default CoEmu and the other is CoEmu.Nano. When hosting online you will want one of them to be 127.0.0.1 (local) and one to be external/hamachi (for others to use) You will ALWAYS use 127.0.0.1 to connect to your own server EVEN IF IT IS HOSTED ONLINE.

Warning: Do not change Website_Ip to 127.0.0.1 or your online ip or else connections will be ignored/timeout!

As for crashing half way through loading maps, try debuging it and see what errors you get (open the project in C#, right click on game server and debug it) if it's crashing it should go back to C# and print out a nice error msg saying what the problem is.

As for database, please use the second database link from the original post data-db-backup or w/e it's called. That one has data in it for monsters/npcs/etc. I would suggest using navicat to set it up.. I've never liked using web based systems for sql but that's just me. execute the batch file using navicat and it could work. I had some problems trying to use phpmyadmin before due to size of scripts and config issues... wasn't fun!

Hmmm sorry but I won't be of much use there... I've gotten it a few times recently myself but whenever I restarted the server or tried again it worked so I dunno.

That being said I am positive that this has been brought up before on the forum so I suggest you do a bit more searching. I remember it being discussed/fixed so I'm sure it's on here somewhere.

Pro4never.... These databases have no items database. Its just blank, now when and if i get online does that mean theres no items in game or does it mean i cant edit items. Second as for microsoft visual ive never used it in my life but its on my pc. Even though im computer literate im not a coder master or nothing.

Also do i have to change any ips in the Conquer client folder like i did on Powersource co??? This is so hard to set up for me compared to my first server

The items database holds PLAYER items. items.txt in the debug folder of the source controls what items the source can handle.

The only ip you will need to change in your conquer client folder (you will obviously need to change one, if not conquer won't know what to connect to!) will be server.dat (USE THE CRACKED SERVER.DAT AND COEMU.EXE LINK FROM FIRST POST IN THIS THREAD!) and change it to 127.0.0.1 and the server name listed in the source.

Make sure you have made the neccessary modifications to the source and then debug both game server and login server and run them from their respective folders (gameserver>debug>bin>w/e it is called.exe and same for login server)

The error specifically says that your mysql database is incorrect. open up navicat (download it, it's free and sooo useful) and execute the database backup from the original thread. That should cause the database to be created (you may need to close the navicat connection and re-open it to see the changes)

All you have to do to execute the database is enter your mysql login information (depends on what version of mysql you are using but you apparently have it correct in the source so good for you), connect to your mysql server, right click any of the existing databases, click execute batch file, locate the file (should be data-db-backup.sql or something like that, it's in the first post) and execute it.

navicat version will not change your source in any way. Navicat simply views and edits your mysql files much like a browser can view websites and submit data to them.

As for your error: I don't remember the exact fix (it's a common problem though). Please search coemu error 31 and you will find the solution as it has been posted multiple times.
