Well seeing you choose not to say why it is broken. It is going to hard to know how to fix it.

Seeing everyone else that has has an issue.
Either used old software on a new file because they never update.
Also the folders had an issue, so people just remade the folders and copied the addons and settings back in them.

Hello, sir. I have had this page bookmarked for years. I really appreciate what you've done for the community. However, the most recent version of the RXP addon you have listed, 4.6.30, is broken. I have tried it on two separate computers. I have tried pasting the files over the old files, and I have also completely deleted the add on and installed fresh. On one of my two tests, the addon will load but the features such as the arrow pointing to quests, or auto accepting / turning in quests doesn't work. It's also printing dozens of errors in the chat every minute. On my second test on a different computer, the blue RXP addon loads, but there are no guides or files at all. If you have any advice for me to fix it, let me know. Otherwise I'll keep my eyes peeled for a new update. Again, thank you very much for what you do :D.

No one else has any issue, but the ones that did was because of a couple of things.

They did not extract it with the right or new software. Instead used the wrong or old software.
The saved variables are corrupted.
The folders have an issue reading. So re making them and copying your files over fixed them.

But because they are the issues. People instead blame the addon that has no issues.

Why would you paste over the old files? Merging the data together and corrupting it and you wonder why it does not work?

Hi, sorry. I dont mean to upset you. Again, I'm very thankful for what you've done. I have always since WOTLK or sooner just pasted the new files over the old files and there has never been a problem before. Also, as mentioned, I did do a fresh install. I even deleted the old saved variable files in the WTF folder.

Not upset at all. More like confused why people blame the addon, when it is their system that is the issue.

They made the addons to old and made a new addons folder and copied it in and no issues at all.

But people demand the addon is broken. So maybe I just best stop updating it then. That will stop people from blaming the file. When they cannot even install an addon correctly or follow the advice that is given.

Sorry, buddy. I think there is a bit of a language barrier so I don't understand what it is you're trying to say. I've used this addon for years, I know how to install an addon, haha. If this addon doesn't work out of the box, with a fresh install, then clearly something is wrong with the upload. Sorry

Seeing you do not want to follow the advice that is given, no point.

Everyone by 5 people have an issue. So it is not the upload, but the user.
4 people followed my advice and it worked. You choose not to, so do not blame me for your own actions.

Lets look at who have downloaded the addon in total. 15k people. But you claim it is the addon.

Deleting "AddOns.txt" and removing all RXP stuff from "layout-local.txt" (in WTF\Account\######\Realm\CharName) helped with RXP guide loading errors.

Example of RXP part in "layout-local.txt":

All people have to do is delete 2 folders

Thank you so much for the clear and concise instructions. I do have to disable some addons, but it's working again now. You're the best.

Edit: Still not working perfectly. Lot's of error messages printing in the chat, but it seems to be useable! Thank you very much. If anyone's addon isn't working I recommend following these instructions.

Glad you have it resolved. I am sorry that advising you to delete two folders and me naming them was not clear and concise.
