Updating for private servers is too much work because the clients differ too much from the official clients that are up to date.

Viper attempts to find all addresses by searching for byte patterns, that is how it works on mostly all country versions with only one version of this tool, though in your case there were 6 pattern mismatches. It would take hours of reversing to update.
