9.5.2 KiteKat repack

Issues observed:

1. Taming Creatures still has a generic server generated SVR Name despite copying over RDB Files.
   
2. I hesitate to call this a bug could be an improvement but No matter what I do I can't get the games music to play.

It's because you don't have proper Arcadia.dbo.StringResource, gameserver send SVRMONSTERID instead of monster name.

Yeah, that makes total sense. This Pack has the StringResource View as well as other stringresource files: IE StringResource_EN.

Initially when I pulled those into the Resource File they didn't make a difference. I ended up using the tools to look at data.000 to see what the names of the db_string files were in there and I found it was named db_string(windows-1250).rdb. After I renamed my db_string.rdb to that name it fixed a bunch of other issues I was having but it hasn't fixed this taming issue.

I'm totally open to the possibility that I'm doing something wrong. But considering it's fixed all the other issues with names and strings I'm at a loss for what that thing might be.

I finally figured out how to get the game music to play. I had to copy the Redist folder from another game client to the root folder of the repacked client and then everything works as expected. Attaching it here for others to use.

Okay, guys. I'm unable to recover the atherounge3 account and to be honest have no wish to dig deep into all data having on drives and anywhere else etc. And at the current moment I am very busy with recovering Inferno server (which, as you may know, completely fucked due to SSD collapse)
So, I can not poste updates and etc. I don't know how much time would it take (and if I even would afterwards have wish to continue working on the repack (since it might take even few months and as we're humans afterall i cant guarantee that I will have wish to continue supporting repack at this date) )
So if somebody willing to re-create topic and continue supporting repack, I can send all the shit directly to you, just PM me in discord (which you, obviously, could find in inferno topic. Or just use this link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

that sucks

This is the first time I've been logged into this site in quite a while.
I've watched several videos most of which were useless and didn't really apply.

Unable to get server to run.
I've changed the gameserver.opt file so many times I'm seeing sounds and hearing colors.
nothing has worked. Tried with the preconfigured settings tried settings from previous versions. It has done my head in.



I've got the database working fine I think
the issue is when I try and run CaptainHerlockServer it just crashes within a second.

CaptainHerlockServer will produce logs in the game_bin/log directory. Usually called KitekatGS_{Date}.log. But delete eveything in the log directory and run it again.

For people who are having issues with pets dont recive any exp,you need update summonexp db for all 300.lvls,since original only had for 170 lvls

Tyvm everythings works.. but where i can edit stuff like server name, modify stuff, we need a tutoial by that

Server name is set in the game server opt file. Re compress to eop file for changes to take affect

As for modifications take a look at the collection thread there are a lot of guides linked in it explaining different things then it really depends on what you want to modify.
