Kinda feel the same on some parts leveling is far too fast. Idk how someone got athena already cause pet reset was what 2 days ago?

That was the original idea, trying to keep players below LV100 for at least a week or two, and trying to prevent zen spam for lv5/6 gems by making LV5 Chest give LV4 gems instead, and small things like that.

But for the past week if we don't take the Pet wipes into account, the exp/drop/deity rates all come from suggestions received through the Launcher. Even the fact that the default ZEN rates are increased is due to upvoted suggestions. Not to mention all the other (in my opinion) outrages changes that has been requested..

I kept my end of the deal by making changes according to a democratic vote on suggestions, although I must admit it's been a stressful week while also working fulltime. The rest is really up to the players, I must say.

Definitely not disagreeing with you, though. Seen this very phenomena happen waay too many times in the past.

Well BOI in general is dieing :) and the truth is that everyone gets bored of it very fast, even if it's low rate or high rate, either nobody knows what they want or that game is just not fun anymore :) alot of persons are saying that they want a low rate hard stuff, but after some days of not achieveing anything they grow to hate that "hard" part coz they are already used with all those p-servers they have played where it was alot easier to do stuff :) and once you get your lvl and gear there is nothing left to do since for me and many others pvp is not something we are looking for in BOI, i don't like the pvp system that game has at all,either way it's just about who has more slyrs and hrtcs in party, so once pvm stuff is done there is no reason to keep on playing :)
Menoz is the best dev around and just for that this server still has players, otherways it would be as empty as anyother *thing* (p-server) there is :)
For me all i have to do here is just afk 23h in middle of the moobs, with around 2-3h checking pc in case of being dead + 5 mins of opening boxes for gems + 30 mins for 3lhe runs ... and repeat .. once 110 spend 1 more hour doing bosses so by the time it grinds me to 115 i would get meso3, and quit right after since there are no more reasons to lvl up so it would become just 5 mins for boxes + 20 mins lhe which would eventualy turn in "too lazy to open game for 25mins of play" :) it's how boi is in my opinion and i have no ideea what could save it :)

The whole democratic vote thing is flawed since people can use proxies to make multiple accounts for voting. Menoz, you should have just kept the server as your own vision of BoI and not listen to greedy people who want BoI to be too easy. Just as an example, there are people already suggesting to keep the x3 zen rate which would make the server even more pointless. So what I suggest is reverting the server back into harder gameplay style and then doing a full wipe, just treat this week+ as a beta. Yes, it would make a lot of people angry, but at the same time, currently this server really has reached a boring endgame way too quickly.

Yes for this. All pet crap and mob difficulty has been fixed so wipe and make it x8 or so rates rates with like lowish zen rates and no box spam for gems.

you know, every time someone asked for more zen, i always asked the person "why do you need more zen, you're already full +10 and your pet is perfect+9 fully skilled". pretty much every time answer was exactly the same: "to open more boxes".
remove all the boxes from market and people won't need more than 2k zen per day.

another issue is that people are used to E30/E45 gears, bosses that require at least 100-150k power to solo and endless stairs that are tough even with full lvl8 gems and +15 set. on newer versions getting lvl115 psg is like 20% of the content. In here people c an't remember that there's nothing else after 115psg, that's why they want stuff easier.
1.8 is the best, most balanced version, yet it lacks content. it requires hard customization or it gets boring quickly.

3rd problem is that most instances/events/stuff are totally useless. it's possible to finish LHE with lvl45 gears. SI and Giza are kinda useless (there's not much difference between lvl45 and lvl60 set. only gems matter and they are same for each lvl of equip). lvl100 gears are useless as well since soloing world bosses is easier than soloing DI...

tbh i'd like to see a boi server where you start at max lvl, but getting gears is tough. where difference between lvl45 SGs and lvl60 SGs and difference between DE and SI difficulty is so huge, people simply have to get (and max) earlier set before moving to the new one.

Granted the issues with pets and mobs caused a lot of boredom and made things too easy as well, I would say. Can't imagine being one shot in pvp for almost an entire week is "fun", nor is it fun to sit back with your character and let the pet do all the work in PVE.


Personally I wouldn't mind wiping, but like you said, many others probably would, and we'd most likely drop down to a bare maximum of 10 players online. I have absolutely zero intention of going beyond the 1.8 patch, as I also believe that to be the best version of them all.


Perhaps I should just see it as a failed experiment and move on? I can't really decide.

Menoz, You should probably check into the top rank slayer called Galaxy, just today he made 5 new lvl 5 gems, When the x3 zen was he made over 20 lvl 5 gems and fixed tons of stuffs + lvl 11 sj (which btw is pretty much impossible with the zen we got so far unless someone donating tons of sjs to him) So obvious hes abusing

Most of us are happy with the server , i and few others went to the extent of leaving our guild to balance out pvp at least to some degree.

Yea the pet wipe were a pain in the ass but really fcking necessary,at least now pvp is actually fun imo.

And as far as people wanting more and more zen you really should ignore that,of course new players and people who don't really understand how the economy works will want more zen thinking that will get em closer to the top not thinking that more zen will also grant the top players more power and further extending the gap betwen them and any new players that might decide to join.

Maybe you could give a boost to only new players, like 20kz for the 1st time they req zen, but yeah the zen system is good as it is already

I agree with reset.
The concept menoz wanted for this server is really only for people like me who enjoy the grind and only left official because we are too broke to keep up in the end game.

This is the best version of BOI but it really does need the grind without it it is the most boring version. As others have said there is a general lack of content. Sure we can make more events/gear but that will still not mean much at the current rate.


Another Idea is to make end game gear harder to get by boosting bosses and events end game to the point people need to really work on there 100 gear in order to group up and get higher gear.

In this version that should be the end game goal is to collect end game gear as it is we just get the gear then afk till zen so we can upgrade the gear slowly. no real point in anything else.

1.8 worked because there were many players . Give the server time and encourage new players . Eliminate zen abuse 100% and uve got urself the server closer to what ure looking for
