[Guide] Multi-Client Mabinogi

I am still able to use this method with Process Explorer. If i recall correctly, someone posted a version of Process Explorer that wasn't detected by Hackshield or something. I have no trouble using two clients at once without the use of VMware.

I updated the thread with a link to Altrius' tutorial, just in case this no longer works for someone.

This method work 100%, this how i usually set up my dual client. In order for this to work you must go to your regedit and tweak a few stuff, do note that if you do this your maplestory client wont' work :D. just reverse the method again and it will work. good luck hunting

2. Launch the Mabinogi Patcher
3. Press Start on the Patcher
4. Quickly Launch another Mabinogi Patcher
wait the the first done loading

Open Process Explorer
5. Go to Process Explorer
6. Press Ctrl+F
7. Type devcat into the box
8. Press Search
10. Right click on the highlighted text and click Close Handle
11. Scroll down or up (usually above the devcat line) a little, until you see some random characters (Or Korean if you had the language pack installed prior to Mabinogi)
12. Right click on it and click Close Handle
13. Close Process Explorer
14. Press Start on the second Mabinogi Patcher
15. Enjoy running two instances of Mabinogi at once!

what are we surposed to do in our regedit..? and what are we surposed to tweak?

yup I just tried and it didn't work. lol I wonder why they are blocking this crap.

They block this because, when you have 2 or more accounts logged on, you can make more gold than usual. Like multiple fishing, botting, "auto attack" on one character while the one you are controlling do a backup hit ( So it is almost impossible for the monster to hit, unless it has auto guard), Earning stars for rafting and killing monsters, while one steer and the other aim (Which is extremely hard and will need an experienced player to do that), enter a quest that must have 2 or more players ( Like for Mana Shield you need a partner, if your a boy you have to get a girl partner, if your a girl you have to get a girl partner), etc.
So this is why they don't let you multi-client
-Btw- I've heard that Sambox is a good way to multi-client POSSIBLY not in mabinogi, but other games like Allods,etc.
