How to setup the famous Shaiya server without problems

Im pretty sure iv got everything set up right and i compared your screen shots with my screen, everything's the same yet the server keeps pausing and unpausing randomly. any ideas?:confused:

Synical, u got Windows XP SP3, SQL Server 2003 and the ports forwarded right? if so, then it should work, if not, then u had a previous configuration of SQL, which can bring some problems, ill soon upload a vid for you folks, bc im sick of people asking me, might as well do it then, let me get my OS ready first since i work on W7 64 BIT now...

Ich mssql 2005 standart habe, XP Pro SP 3 und nicht ausgeführt. pls help

how to update this server ?

i got no errors after use the install.bat
i click "Apply to windows registry"
computer has restarted
but I still had red crosses :(

ok so i cant find the right sql server, every one i download is messed up in one way or another.I have one that works a while ago but had to uninstall and cant find it now. So can someone rapidshare(or anything else) a server file that will work for shaiya? thanks in advance.

ok, i got as far as the PSM manager, there is red Xs beside Session, UserLog, Login01, and GameGroups01

i went to server set up and did the Service Install All, still no green, so, i need a lil more info here plz

would be much appriciated

also, i was just looking through ur tutorial AGAIN, lol, and in the DOS install part, u said no errors should show up, i am 50% sure that i seen an error, sooooooo, how do i fix the DOS back to normal so i can do this all again???

At this moment, my computer fried down, mb death, got no replacement, im typing this at work as i speak, so sorry i didnt come back, also johny, NO errors should show up, if it does, post the exact error here, so i can see what it is, i dont do PM and i dont set up servers for you people, got a busy life for myself atm, hope u guys could help out eachother at some point, and i did say before synical, u need to have a clean install of XP for it to work, since a previous install of MS SQL will F*kc things up... maybe an idea to use warez etc to find something?


Also poly, could u stick this topic please? If more people see this thread, there is a possibility that people will help EACHOTHER and dont keep asking the same questions, would be GREATLY appriciated.

yeah i went through and got rid of all the server files, i just cant find the standard file download. the only ones iv found are express and developers.

tried everything made it mixed aut with the user Shaiya and pw Shaiya123

Also tried with the Sa with pw Shaiya123 nothing works got the riight sql server i think its 2005 version.. Plz can someone help me

its ur SQL problem. Find in other post i posted link where u can download mssql 2005 standard.

Ya i have that downloaded but it says i need some ISS installed and the operating system is not compiale with this mysql and something with the mysql it says it wants to update or something
