It seems that the SQL Server 2005 trial is no longer available to download from MS. Is there somewhere else to get it? If not, would it be better to use the Express version of 2005, or the Trial version of 2008? I've been using 2005 Express, and it does feature Mixed Mode Authentication Win NT & SQL Authentication, and it built the database fine. It seems to work (connects to the Server Manager). Only issue I have is at the login screen I always get "Invalid UserID and Password". Perhaps that is indicative of Express not being sufficient, but it seems like it should be a different problem to me (no idea what though, I've tried everything I can think of).

Well, I still haven't found a Standard Trial version to download, but I can confirm that Express does in fact work. =) I worked through a few of the problems I have, and now my server seems to be working just fine with Express. =) Thanks for the help though.

I confused about the MSSQL. I installed it using Mixed Mode Aut and gave a password to the login sa.

So my question is how do I attach the Shaiya DB to MSSQL, I can create a new login with Username: Shaiya PASS: shaiya123 .. but I really dont understand how to attach the DB?

nothing for me, yet the same thing... i got everything running smooth, but the services, dont keep started...
and the Session, NEVER starts...

im on windows xp, sp3, user Shaiya, pass shaiya123, my SA pass to sql (MSSQL 2005 Enterprise) is shaiya123, the server installed all correct, the DB is there..

if you could help me, please, i would thank you very much

---> Another info, i tried to start the services manually, they all start, but when i try to start Shaiya Session Server, this gives me a default windows message, it says that the service started and stoped, sometimes this occur because the service has nothing to do..
i tried to run ps_session.exe (the file that the service is pointing) tru cmd and gives me no message.
What this file do?
