ok, removed A* pathfinding to improve liquidity of the game, and added a new pathfinding, npc now use the new pathfinding and avoid the island!

Ok i post from m'y iphone cause i dont have internet on m'y Pc until tomorow ,
What i CAN say about thé new version is :
Now ive added a npc with the rare design , cant possibility to shoot it for the moment cause it was for testing npc AI , and it work fine! For those who wonder how it work : simply the npc start a path in x,y random tile grid position , and just Before it arrive , it recalculate a new random path , etc... And this process Will repeat infinitly ... , If The npc meet a island in his path it simply avoid it !

Then added a game controler to the game to handle every entity béhavior and spawning in each map, added a sound_controller too to test à very usefull function : sound on 3D , what does it means? It means that after the sound Will be affect by listening distance Like in réal Life , and fixed some bug

Well done you`re doing a great job i`ll keep an eye open here to see when it will finally reach to it`s destination(almost same game like the official and doesnt matters if its an old version).

I had fun with coding last 3 days and that are results of it :)


  • Different kinds of ammo (click on keypad "+" to change ammo)
  • Different kinds of harpoons (click on keypad "0" to change harpoon)
  • Reward messages
  • VooDoo shield (only for me becouse i like it :P)
  • Shineys rewards
  • Target recognizing (ship or monster)
  • 3 types of NPC behaviour (Deffensive, Offensive and Neutral)
  • Gold, pearls, exp, elp
  • Skills in code
  • Population controller (spawning NPCs, mobs and shineys)
  • Action bar (only sprites)
  • Info about target (Right upper corner) (VSP,HP)
  • And i think that's all

Updates again ;)

Added:
  • Repairing.
  • Repairing animation.

Fixed:
  • HP won't be anymore higher than HP_MAX.
  • Fixed Offensive and Neutral behaviour of NPCs.

Known bugs:
  • Repairing can be turned on when moving.

EDIT: We have to know what updates do you want in our game (like VooDoo shield, skills, ect ...).

Awsome job war, potzatki :) I Think you should put in up to 21 elites and skills. I still play even tho the castles and VP Are just insane. lol
