Yes, There have been many requests about the moving/attacking mobs giving exp, If i do recal it will be out soon

EDIT: I was looking back a few pages and for Adz source someone posted something for exp from monsters.... That might help you if your using Adz's source but there is alot of 100 pages i havent read so is there anything on samhvan's source?

The Samehvan Project is planned at being a "generic" server that can be changed into a funserver or a replica server. For those of you who want to make your own custom modifications to the server, there may be some pages on how to do it on our Project Wiki. When we release V1 (With working Guilds / Warehouseman) it will include a few more features and GM commands such as /restart X seconds, which will allow you to restart and administer your server without a desktop connection. There will also be better security fixes.

All in all, just be patient, it is happening so strap yourself in and feel the Gs.

Adz had removed that, however, in rev5 we will be allowing people to set a config option to allow leveling from mobs or disallow.

Thats the reason why we have an SVN, so we can keep it up to date, in the SVN it will contain revisions I.E. "Source-REV3" so that people can backtrack older source codes and so we can also use them as a reference (And something to fall back on)
