though its still working for me with NA client.

turn off 'use items' and 'autoscan' then use the fossil yourself and press 'x' or 'enter' key.

You find the proper XML entries in propdb.xml and change showname="false" to showname="true". Then find the respective entries in propdb.english.txt and put in some intelligent english names
