[Release] AutoBot v1.0 (Mining,Metallurgy,Gathering,Restoration)

I will no longer be supporting AutoBot or Unofficial Tiara here.

Why exactly did you include itemdb.english.txt?

because i added "Gem" to the end of gem names also added true fossil names while fossils are on the ground to it that were not in unofficial tiara.

propdb.xml & propdb.english.txt contains Snowman names for Gathering snowballs.

What an interesting looking bot.

Except it has about 115 pictures that it apparently relies on. I'm not going to go and take a fuckload of screenshots, to test a bot that I'm not even sure works.

Before someone says "check the code, see what it uses for the function you want" YOU check the code. He's pretty much just slapped in Therri's core file, so, it's a massive lumbering block of text that contains all the functions of ALL of the other bots.

Shaggy, what the hell IS that? A core file is supposed to be CORE functions, not ALL of the functions ._.

Your metallurgy bot is 23 lines, after you ignore all the GUI coding, because everything (Seriously. Everything. Even sleep functions.) is called to the core file.

If you're going to make a bot, make it a standalone script.

Having examined the metallurgy bot, I can see that this is a total waste of processor time. You plan to have it search for EVERYTHING in the mob folder (hilariously, the next function down is the same, just renamed and altered slightly) which is a total waste of resources.

If your core file were an actual core file, it would call a standalone metallurgy script, which would function on it's own. These other scripts aren't even necessary at this point, EVERYTHING is in the core, you may as well have run the bots from the core file.

It has a broken item function in the core, but, the metallurgy bot doesn't have that.
Fair enough it's not finished, but, seeing as all you would have done is put "_brokenCheck()" in, it's a little sad.

Forgot to ask, what's the deal with the GUI for the "bots", and all the links to Epvp? We've seen that the average idiot is capable of navigating his/her/it's way here, although I'm completely baffled as to why the metallurgy bot gets a GUI, as it's not even a real program.

how work mining macro?it just move the visual to me :/

Seems pretty nice, but it acts like it isn't detecting any silver spots, I even tried replacing the bmp with my own but it still didn't work.
-edit- After even replacing that I'm still not even sure how you got it to work in the first place..

Link, it's literally all done via the core section, which is included in each file, meaning there is a LOT of unnecessary excess.

I'd just look at Diometer's bot if you want to learn something useful. This is everything a bot should not be, although, if the Core.au3 was broken up, the functions themselves would prolly prove useful.

This will never be finished, due to the core making the program complicated beyond compare.

If you want to understand how it works, use ctrl and F in the Core.au3 file.

what are you talking about? did i ask you to come an post your faulty opinions that i could care less about that are not even half way to being true?

it doesn't rely on 115 pictures, a few of the bots (yes "bot" is the term i use because a macro does one hard thing and makes it easy while a bot does several easy things and loops) only use a couple images for what they do i plan on putting in a lot more images so that it works for more people without them needing to take their own screen shots and it doesn't search ALL images only the ones that its told to look for from config.ini and the ones needed for specific functions

don't get stuck in a limited mindset just because theri called it core.au3 doesn't mean it is or i even use it in that way; at some point i'm sure i will put the bots code and gui's in it maybe i'll rename it to ALL.au3 so you can sleep at night but i don't want to rename it since that's what theri called it.

mobsearch and namesearch will have two different tasks mobsearch will be looping until it sees no more mobs in moblist i can't do that with namesearch since it is also used on props that don't disappear so they are different in functionality.
i might even add a Prob List in config.ini to avoid confusion with mobs to fight or prop names to gather from.
theri originally had it looping until result=0 i have not messed with mobsearch in awhile that apparently i removed the loop when i was using it before i added namesearch but it will be changed back to loop again for when i make an attack bot.

seeing as all you would have done is put "_brokenCheck()" in? what are you saying? in any case i have a lot left to work on and i just care about function and this has more functions and more scalability then diometers i have not gone through every function and fixed theri's work yet "_brokenCheck()" being one of them that used hex color codes that would not work to well so when i add talking and moving to npc's with way-points to metallurgy and mining then i will need to know if tools are broke so i will fix his _brokenCheck().

there is only 1 link to elitepvper in the metallurgy bot that leads here, so apparently you can't even read or count dunno which but why are you even bringing up pointless things like this?

the guis are there because i will be adding a settings gui and needed a place to make it easier to configure the ini and soon will have all bots in one exe and gui with tabs and settings to change but why i did it this way for now shouldn't even be an issue.
your just finding everything you possibly can to cry about instead of wording it in a constructive manner and without reading that moving all the bots into one exe and making a settings gui is on my to do list in the first post.

i'm not going to keep explaining my motives for you to understand this thread is not to start a flame war or for noobs but what it is for is to guide capable people to learn to use and configure it for many needs as it is capable of mimicking any user action and for people to give me constructive and positive suggestions bickering over core.au3 actually being a core.au3 is pointless.

and i seen diometer's bot even used some of it until i saw theri's bot functions and made them better diometer's bot simply doesn't have scalability or as much function as this

breaking up the functions? why? i need them in one place i don't want to include 10 different .au3's it is standalone this way and doesn't need autoit installed this gives the main bots less excess and i don't waste resources with repeating code

so you quit everything that's not easy? making this bot complicated doesn't mean it can't be finished that would only apply to people that quit or can't understand anything complicated

did you edit the config.ini like i posted above, are you mining sulfur rocks? if not you make need to retake images for Ore and name them ore1.bmp,ore2.bmp and put them in Prop folder the name doesn't matter then you edit Prop list in the config or GUI and put ore=1 however ore is already there from metallurgy and the images for it may not match up to mining i have not tried since i only mine sulfur rocks.

i'm not sure what your doing wrong then i figured you would be able to figure it out since you've made a metallurgy bot that uses image searching...
all you would really have to do is replace the required images if it doesn't work right off there is no on button since they loop and check the config.ini that's all the functions depend on.
other problems people have run into the past is having to changing to 1024x768 windowed mode for both mabi and pc (even though it shouldn't matter what the resolution is) and running it with admin privileges so if you can't figure it out i am willing to setup a teamviewer session to explain how it works for you and help you troubleshoot.

What's the point in having it call even sleep functions? They're likely going to need to be different for each user, in each bot, you may as well just have each one separately defined, using your GUI/INI combo.

Just finish the core file, tidy it into sections, provide some documentation, then watch the bots flourish.

Imagine a couple of pages like that. It's not easy on the eyes, nor is it easy to find information in there.

I'll admit, I thought this was stupid at first, (it still is, if YOU are the one making the bots, as YOU could just optimise them! D:<) but, if you're going to just make it a highly functional bot library tool, with a couple of examples thrown together, then, it's extremely interesting, and will lead to some very original bots I'm sure.

Perhaps your INI file could contain image search settings as well, for bots that have been cobbled together.

Either end this now, or tone the language and insulting down. I will allow only a real debate/argument to continue. None of this flame war quoting nonsense.

again most of that is still based on your opinion which i don't care about however i will take some of that into consideration; i'm not going to just tidy up the core function without testing it with bots and as i make the bots i add more functions so with time it will all be sorted out my way. originally it was not my idea to make it easy to read or find information but i will do this at least by commenting/organizing the sections better its just for me i look at code all day and was no problem for me to find what i needed and i have been working on it for months so i have it memorized as to what is where.

i did a quick update to v1.1 and included all bots into one application but i still need to add the individual settings to manage config.ini easier and i will continue updating and cleaning up as i go along and as i see fit.

How to make metallurgy bot faster? its really slow

update to version 1.2 use the Update AutoBot.exe
increased speed and organized functions made it cleaner

to make it faster lower delay values in config.ini i still haven't added settings to gui yet
lower longestdelay and hitdelay though i don't recommend it because if a prop ie silver is far away it may not have time to get there and complete the task before the next action like finding items before its cancels and it continues the loop but i'm sure if you adjust the delays you can find a happy medium

Yeah hey, Im rather new to this stuffs and like.. I did everything the readme told me too. Yet when i run "AutoBot" and choose "Metalurgy" then "Start Bot" All the bot does is just spin...

you use unofficial tiara? if so then you need to retake images of gold, silver, ore and gem labels.

if you haven't used this type of bot before then basically you hold ALT and go to the mabinogi menu and take a screenshot then goto My Documents\Mabinogi\ScreenShot and cut out just the name (gold,silver,ore,gem) then name and replace it with the ones in Find\Images\prop\ and Find\Images\items
