Try to use right mouse button to tag npcs (or mouse wheel for ships).

Yesterday was a really tough day. We've helped Thor to adapt to new environment, and we've made tons of fixes and some little changes !
  • We've improved alot npcs AI. Now they will act like real seafight npcs.
  • Great memory optimization ! From now on game takes only ~30MB of ram instead of 200MB that was constantly increasing till it would take all available memory and crash ! This is amazing news !
  • We've started creating shop.
  • You can find us on seachart ! Find mighty admirals: War-Sloop, BlueMagic, Thor and sink them to receive special reward ! (BlueMagic pro tip: battle will be very tough)

2 years ago was a better version of retro seafight with many options + that versions had 90 mb not 40 :)
Why this version is smaller and less options?

I think this will get beter. They just made a basic game and will expand it.

Less optin you mean? less size you mean? smaller you mean? um welll... i think you don't play the both game as equal comparative, because the difference between 2 years ago and now is hum how i can say that... HUGE ! blue magic was alone before, and without really good skill in programming langage, but now 2 years later he make ALOT of progress in the langage and moreover i joain it 1 years ago, and now thor join us, so i think you are wrong with this ;)

Secondly, our game is MUCH more structured and Much more stable than before, as i said because we make a lot of progress in programming knowledge, so yea, function is not here no but as our game is more maintenable now function will be more easy to make ! a, and i see you dont know what we will release tomorow on version 1.2.5, it's very awesome, but i will keep the secret one day more :)

To conclude, Don't worry, trust us, this game will be so much better than before that you will totally forget the one before :D

As was stated we have made many changes to the stability of the game and it runs much better. We have been working on setting up the code in a way that will let us easily make modifications to add more features. We have some big plans for usability and really cool features. But having a stable game is more important than having a million features.

Look at the current state of seafight. There are tons of features, but it is useless because there are tons of bugs that make the game frustrating to play at times. One of my top priorities is making sure the game runs smoothly and efficiently so playing is a better user experience :)

Hi guys. I regret to inform you we are moving the release back to tomorrow. We will release around noon Eastern time in the US (for them in france and poland I believe its 18:00)

We have a few more changes that we were unable to finish up. We want the shop to be working as well as some new items such as pirate pacts :D. These are all working pretty well, but we need a bit more time to polish it up.

Things to expect (on top of what you were told the other day):
-Ability to get designs (Frostbite and designs from developer admirals)
-AI fixes
-And some more fun surprises which you will get to try out when we get the release out :D
